Just some practise sketches I've been doing, trying to improve my horse anatomy and dynamic-ness.

Glad to see a fellow user of the book "The art of animal drawing" by former disney drawer Ken Hultgren.
This book is simply amazing and tells so much about animal anatomy.
Personally I never thought about the elongating and pushing of muscles before I read this book.
But I see, you are far ahead of me by now, since I can't get close to his suggested drawings to save my life XDDD
Good job

yes it is a brilliant book, like you it hadn't crossed my mind before I read his book. Ken Hultgren is one of my top favourite artists and I've learnt a lot from studying his work. And thank you a lot for the comments, I really appreciate it!

Just gave one. I envy your skills. I am by far not that good with the anatomy XD
Guess I have to study more.
Keep up the work.^^

Ahh, I didn't get this in my message center!

All of these are absolutely amazing, the lines are so smooth and I lovelove those legs/hooves! The motion is definitely believable, too. :)

Awesome poses! I like the muscle one in the corner a lot as well.
