Another reason I can't wait to leave school = no more crappy buses!

This is the third accident in which the police have had to be called to the scene with our school bus, the fourth I've been in. But this one was just bloody scary o.o;

The first time we crashed, I was in Year 9 and it was an excuse not to go to school lol xD And at the time there were loads of year 11's and only a few of us. So they acted all cool about it and it rubbed off on us, who could have freaked out. Basically a tree branch just crashed into the front window on the top of the bus (double decker). Nobody was injured, cause this guy (aptly nicknamed Pie) shouted "DUCK!" and we obeyed lol. Just a lot of glass all over the place. We walked home, got the day off school.

This time, the same happened I think. Atleast we saw a policeman moving a large tree branch out the way. Although there was like a miraculous circle on just one side of the window, and the rest of the glass just completely shattered. More force than last time cause the whole bus jolted. And EVERYONE screamed upstairs. We all thought they were just over-reacting (a lot of whiney, annoying kids upstairs). But it was serious. Two girls had glass go over their faces, one of which was bleeding pretty seriously and had some go in her neck. Another girl was in hysterics, crying and vomitting. And about half of the people upstairs had glass hit them, even people right at the back. Just scratches though.

Personally I reckon it was pressure (watch me get all scientific lol) or something related because, our bus driver goes fast. o.o; scarily fast. And we're in a double decker bus, no seatbelts, that is renowned for crashing and is so old that holes have started forming in the corner of windows where water seeps through. So the windows are weak, we're going downhill, it was pretty windy today........ but I dunno.

I bet it would have been cool, only there's hardly any Year 11's on our bus and A LOT of Year 9's, specifically girls. I think they all just panicked and nobody was able to calm them. Some of us took control xD I didn't. Well. I helped with trying to get people to sit down. I mean you've got two injured people and a hysterical person, and everyone staring at them and going up to them. So we tried to get everyone apart from a few friends to go sit back until the police arrived. (I'm responsible ha xD) Then Kate called her mum and we went home xD Would have been another HOUR or more before another bus came as they were all on service. Got home just before 5. Probably would still be there now if I hadn't gone with Kate.

So, I seriously hope that either the bus company gets it's butt in gear and actually works on safety - Shamrocks break down/crash more than any other of the bus companies the school uses - or that College has a much better bus service lol.
